I am moving!

If you notice, I don't have any new post since 2 months ago (by today 7 August 2012). I have strong reason for it..............................................................
I am working in my new site. I own a site yeayyyy!

The next question would be WHY?
Lately I've been thinking that I do love traveling even though I am not a full time traveler. I do love writing in blog. It's my way to talk to myself and ofcourse also taking notes on what I've seen and what I've found during my travel. I love to share it and hope it can help other people (maybe it can inspire you to go out and see the world). I want to give an idea that basically everyone can travel, even an ordinary girl like me :)

So, why not? With a little encouragement from the Husband; about 2 months ago I decided to work on my own site. Travel blogging still a hobby for me, but with owning it, it push a tiny of my commitment to it. Pray for it and hope the result will good!

The other next question would be, IS IT EASY?
The answer is not that easy but it is interesting the journey to set up the new blog. If you can see that there are still a lot of room for improvement. Yes, the new website is still in-progress. But I will consider it as some kind of travel. In the definition travel is to explore something new/unfamiliar/strange/unknown :) . And I am more than happy to show you. Just successfully posted 1 blog post, titled 'Amsterdam: Keukenhof the Kitchen Garden'

Yes, we are back from our first travelling as a couple. In March, we travelled to several countries in Europe for 17 days! Left my footprints in Europe before I reach age 30 is one of my dream. And it deserve to be included in my dream list since Europe is so far away from my country where I live now - Indonesia and considering the rumor related with high budget required looking to the fact that I am still just an ordinary girl :).

It's a new journey, It will be a new Road: My knot is tied!

Hello World; this is me calling you :)

It is quite sometime for me to not updating this blog as one of my way to communicate since I was drowned by lot of stuffs in preparing my wedding. Yes I have tied my knot after our 11 years full of ups and downs relationship. True that the wedding was the biggest thing of my life so far and true that it has and will change my life. Including the traveling part; for sure starting from now I have my permanent travelmate.

Personal Notes
What always make travel interesting would be: travel often placed us in an unusual condition to do our usual activities. And it will change our perspective on our usual activities forever.

Visit Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) - Vietnam in 2009 exposed me to new level of traveling experience. I am a moslem, Saigon was my first visit to a city which moslem is not the majority unlikely in Jakarta (Indonesia) or Malaysia. The challenge was higher related with the food and my routine prayer.

Why I Like..or possibly Need to Travel?

Hear the question often lately due to my recent travelling vacation.
Actually, there are so many reason why I like to travel. For me travel is a desire or passion to see the other part of the world; see how it works and hopefully understand.

It is always super fun; the idea of once in a while putting myself in a distance & different situation/condition from my daily routine life. There is some energizing chemistry when we meet new people and exploring new places.

My name is Dian-the ordinary girl, born and lived in Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. This is my travel blog. This blog will be about my travel contemplation, the places I have visit, might be about the people whom I met also the adventures that have changed me and become a part of me now.

Hope it will be nicely written, thus I could share what I have found during my travelling time, finally hope this blog could give you a glimpse of useful information, I will be more than happy if it could help you to plan your travelling or even just make you consider that travelling would be a worth to try new interesting activity:) .

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2007 was my first time in overseas trip. It was business trip actually. After that I have travelled to Singapore, Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Chiang Mai, Ayutthaya & Bangkok (Thailand) and Siem Reap (Cambodia). In Indonesia, I have visit Lampung (my mom’s hometown), Yogyakarta (my dad’s hometown), Bali, Jambi and Dieng.

Back to now March 2011, I plan to finish blog posting about places mention above before May 2011 when I will have my next destination ^_^.
